Terms & Draw Rules

1. About this service

The "World Cup 2026 Predictor" (the "Service") is a fan-made prediction game for the FIFA World Cup 2026. The Service is operated by Christoph Platzer (Christine-Lavant-Gasse 10, 9020 Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, Austria) — solo, independent, not affiliated with FIFA, adidas, or any team or federation.

2. Acceptance of terms

By using the Service or paying €0.99 to unlock the bracket, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

3. What you get for €0.99

• Access to the knockout-bracket predictor (Round of 32 through Final)
• A shareable prediction link
• One entry into the jersey prize draw if you predict the Final winner correctly
• Potential bonus entry if you refer three paying friends (see section 6)

The group-stage and wildcard predictors are free and don't require payment.

4. Payment

Payment is one-time, €0.99 (inclusive of any applicable VAT), processed by Stripe. We don't store your card details. You'll receive an unlock token immediately upon successful payment.

5. Prize draw — official rules

• Prize: Two (2) official replica jerseys, one of each finalist team. Sizes XS–XXL. Shipping included worldwide.
• Eligibility: Anyone aged 18 or over, worldwide, with a valid email address. Excluded: residents of jurisdictions where such draws are prohibited by law.
• How to enter: The prize draw is a complimentary bonus for users who have unlocked the knockout predictor.
  1. Predict the Final winner correctly. Once the Final has been played, all unlocked predictions naming the actual winner receive one entry.
  2. OR refer three paying friends through your referral link (verified via Stripe). One bonus entry per qualified referral group, regardless of whether your prediction is correct.
• Maximum entries per person: 2 (1 for correct prediction + 1 for referrals).
• Draw date: 20 July 2026, 18:00 CEST.
• Draw method: Two winners selected at random from the pool of valid entries using a cryptographically random number generator.
• Notification: Winners notified by email within 48 hours. If a winner doesn't respond within 14 days, a replacement is drawn.
• Delivery: Jerseys posted via tracked international mail within 30 days of winner confirmation. Customs duties (if any) are the winner's responsibility.
• Total prize value: approximately €180 (two replica jerseys + shipping).

6. Referral program

If three (3) friends pay €0.99 through your unique referral link, you receive one bonus draw entry. Bonus entries are credited automatically when Stripe confirms the third paid referral. Referrals must be from unique payment methods and email addresses. Self-referral and fraud detection apply — fraudulent referrals are disqualified and may result in account suspension.

8. Acceptable use

• Don't try to break, exploit, or reverse-engineer the Service
• Don't abuse the referral system with fake accounts
• Don't impersonate others or submit false information
• Don't share your unlock token publicly (it's tied to your draw entry)

Violation may result in entry disqualification.

9. No warranties

The Service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that your prediction will be preserved if you clear your browser. Back up your prediction by saving the share link.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid (€0.99). We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Intellectual property

"FIFA", "FIFA World Cup", "adidas", and team names/logos are trademarks of their respective owners. This Service uses them only for descriptive, non-commercial fan purposes and claims no affiliation. All other content (design, code, copy) is © 2026 Christoph Platzer.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the site at least 7 days before taking effect.

13. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Austrian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Klagenfurt, Austria, unless mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise.
